Tolling Evasion Prevention System

The system prevents illegal passing vehicles such as default vehicle, tolling evasion vehicles, etc. Capture images of tolling vehicles and their plate number to secure objective evidence for tolling fee collection, discount, default vehicles, etc. Furthermore, prevent tolling evasion vehicles by categories of vehicles and default vehicles. Also, in preparation for smart tolling system, the system receive tolling fee through plate recognition.

System Features

  • Acquisition clear image of plate number and other information by using high-resolution digital color camera (2.0M pirxels).
  • Excellent recognition rate (more than 98%) through a strong algorithm (KICT certificate, 2013).
  • Speed and signal violation enforcement at the same time.
  • Semi-permanent IR LED light: more than 100M times of life cycle.
  • Provides various monitoring function (ex. Device state, work report, recognition result, etc.).
  • System self-equipment check and alarm function.
  • Improve tolling collection work efficiency by transmitting passing vehicles information to center.
  • Built-in self-recovery function (watchdog function).
